Pow Wow 2008
We had great results from Pow Wow!!!!
Our attendance this year was the highest of all of the chapters at 33 Arrowmen,
which is the highest it's been for Anasazi in MANY years.
Our Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee teams both took first place!!!
And our Water Polo team (which was outsized by about a foot and a half per
person) had a great showing coming from behind in the first round of play
to make it to the second round.
We took 3rd place Overall for the Sports competitions!!!!
Our ceremonies team had a great recovery after a rocky start and ended up with a 3rd place for the Ordeal ceremony.
Thank you to Andrew Beal and Henry Stiepel (and Joanne who did the driving) who drove out on Saturday
afternoon just to compete... Dalton Johnson gave a great Camp Promotion presentation.
Our new "booth" was amazing!!!
Thank you for Dwight Touchberry and Jon Awerkamp as the design team.
We had several boys competing at Sand Painting.
All did a phenomenal job their first time out.
One team took home a 3rd place in "Traditional Sand Painting".
Congratulations to Dwight Touchberry who was called to the Vigil Honor!!!!
It was a long time coming and very deserved.
A special thank you to Thom Spratt and Dean Johnson who ran the Rifle Range the entire day!!!!
Overall, we had a fun time with lots of friendship and fellowship!!!
Hopefully the scouts who attended will let everyone know what a good time they had so that we can double our efforts next year!!!!
